After having lived in Japan, Radboud started his own firm in company search activities on behalf of Japanese and European companies – which was the “first stone” of today’s Global Bridges. In the meantime he started his weekly columns in The Dutch Financial Times for a period of over 8 years and later he had a weekly column on BNR News Radio, the #1 Dutch national radio station. He has been seen as the “Japan watcher” for all kind of media in the Netherlands.
In 2003 Radboud was asked to revive as Managing Director the Dutch & Japanese Trade Federation / DUJAT, a non-profit organization with as mission statement to increase the economic ties between the Netherlands and Japan, a mission that he completed in 2016.
Besides his role of managing partner at Global Bridges, he also serves as member of the Supervisory Boards of Yamaha Motor Europe NV and Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe, in both cases upon recommendation of the Works Council.
